Pitcher Plant Blown Glass Art Sculpture

Description

Hand blown pitcher plant inspired glass sculpture by Dean Wolf of Austin, Texas. The pitcher plant was blown by adding layers of clear, white, and color frit together and blowing the bubble out very long. A separate gathering of green frit covered glass was added to the bottom and tooled into a leaf stand and foot. The piece was puntied and the mouth was tooled open, spun, and shaped. The piece is signed "Wolf Art Glass 2010."

It stands 10" tall and is 2.75" at its widest.
